In an exciting initiative designed to boost small business growth, REDC is hosting a statewide business video pitch competition for New Hampshire-based for-profit companies. As part of the THRIVE Competition Series commemorating REDC’s 30th anniversary in 2024, this fourth and final event offers a grant prize of $10,000 to the winning business.
Entrepreneurs across the state are invited to submit a video “elevator” pitch—ranging from 90 seconds to two minutes—that compellingly explains why investors should back their business. While submissions must be professional and clear, the competition will focus solely on the content and message rather than video editing skills or production quality.
“The goal is not only to provide critical funding to support the growth of one winning business, but also to help small business owners hone their presentation and pitching skills, which are essential for success,” said a REDC spokesperson.
In addition to the grant, REDC will amplify the winner’s success by sharing their pitch, along with a selection of runner-up videos, on its website and social media channels, offering valuable exposure to participating businesses.
Submissions for the competition are due by March 12, 2025, at 11:59 pm Eastern Time, with the winner set to be announced in early April 2025.
This competition represents a unique opportunity for New Hampshire’s business community to gain funding, refine their pitching skills, and increase their visibility in a supportive, growth-oriented environment.
