Newfound Lake, located in the picturesque Lakes Region of central New Hampshire, has been recognized as one of the 10 cleanest lakes in the United States in 2024 by AZ Animals, a prominent nature research platform. This accolade highlights the pristine beauty and ecological significance of Newfound Lake, making it a must-visit destination for nature enthusiasts and tourists alike.
Renowned for its crystal-clear waters, Newfound Lake is uniquely replenished by eight subterranean springs, which ensure the lake is refreshed twice a year. This natural filtration system contributes to its exceptional water quality and stunning clarity. Spanning a width of 2.5 miles and a length of 6 miles, Newfound Lake reaches depths of up to 183 feet, offering ample opportunities for exploration and recreation.

The ramp at Grey Rocks is specifically for launching carry-in boats like kayaks and canoes. Paddling through this area allows visitors to fully appreciate the subtle wonders of Grey Rocks as a serene gateway to Newfound Lake.
